Ecosystem Services WG
  • Welcome: Lena Goldkuhl, Luleå University of Technology, Sweden and Clemens Strehl, IWW Water Centre, Germany
  • Position paper: On the working group meeting in June last year we decided on a structure for a position paper. During this working group meeting we will start working on the position paper. First, we will decide on target group for/purpose of the position paper, and whether the definition our group uses for water related  ecosystem services should be modified or not. Thereafter, we will work on identifying water related Ecosystem Services in relation to e.g., SDG 6.1, 6.3 and 6.4. We’re planning to use research from the group to exemplify this.
  • Knowledge exchange on past or running projects in the field of Ecosystem Services: We will continue to work on building the database on projects in the Ecosystem Services area. One purpose of the database is to provide input to our position paper.
